There is no special edition at launch. For comparison, the original Graveyard Keeper currently lists at $3.99 on Steam US, and frequently goes on deep sale, which is the cheapest legal route into the series if you want the story background first.
The pre-order bonuses
Ordering before launch added two items, both cosmetic or comfort rather than power:
- Sauna building: placed near your base, across the bridge to the left, once you have repaired the bridge and progressed a little.
- Platform-specific outfit: a Grand Inquisitor outfit whose look depends on the platform you bought on. To wear it, unlock the "Suit Up!" technology, build a Dresser in your home, and change clothes there.
Both come from the official FAQ. What the outfit looks like on each platform has been described in community videos, but the color-per-platform detail is not in official material yet, so we keep it at "platform-specific" here.
If your pre-order items are missing
This happened often enough that Lazy Bear shipped a same-week fix. The September 22 hotfix repaired an issue that "in some cases, prevented the pre-order content from appearing in existing save files". If the Sauna or the outfit still do not show up after updating, the FAQ steps above are the checklist: bridge repaired, Suit Up! unlocked, Dresser built.
